Balcony power plants: How 800 W inverters are still possible

Anyone interested in larger 800 W balcony power plants should first check the local conditions. Powerful Balcony power plants are of little use if the local conditions are not optimal.

Inverters with a nominal power of more than 600 watts are not prohibited in principle. However, these devices must be able to be throttled. Connecting a balcony power station to a household socket – what is permitted?

The issue of sockets is also important. In the future, a balcony power station should be able to be connected to a normal household socket. Balcony power plant: bureaucracy hinders energy transition – our conclusion

Our conclusion: The market for balcony power plants is booming. However, important aspects such as the standard for feeding into the power grid or the type of plug are not yet in place – this is annoying. For example, if the balcony power plant can produce significantly more power and has to run in economy mode due to a lack of standardization.
